  • Current distribution known : Quanza, Cubango, Cunene, Okavango. Also known from the Luembé (Kasai tributary, middle Congo River basin) in Angola. Reports from the Luapula and its tributaries need confirmation; reports from Eala (Ruki drainage, middle Congo River basin) and the Lulua River (Kasai drainage) are B. imberi (see Paugy, 1986) .

  • Size : 70 mm TL .
